Iranian armed forces carried out drone strikes targeting military facilities and camps belonging to Kurdish opposition groups in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The strikes were conducted in the Erbil area, according to an Iranian Telegram channel.
Emergency responders and relevant authorities are working at the sites, with the extent of the damage to infrastructure still under assessment. Information on possible casualties and injuries is also being verified.By Jeyhun Aghazada
