Iran has vowed to respond to the Ukrainian strike on an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea, Iranian Parliament Deputy Speaker Ali Nikzad said.
"Any location from which aggression is launched against our country and our territory will undoubtedly become a legitimate target for our armed forces, and the short-sighted actions of the Ukrainian government will not go unanswered," Nikzad was quoted as saying by the Fars news agency.
On July 25, Iran's Foreign Ministry stated that Ukraine had struck an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea, resulting in the death of a crew member.
