Qatar’s Ministry of Transport has announced that maritime navigation has fully resumed, with all types of vessels and ships allowed to operate again starting Sunday, July 26, 2026.
In a post on X, the ministry also urged vessels to “abide by the maritime regulations and instructions to ensure the highest levels of safety and security for all trips,” Caliber.Az reports.
Restrictions on maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz had been introduced two weeks earlier following a renewed exchange of deadly strikes between the United States and Iran, which also affected shipping in the strategic waterway.
