Romanian President Nicușor Dan announced that a Romanian Air Force F-16 fighter jet destroyed a drone over the country’s territorial waters in the Sulina–Chilia area on the morning of July 26, marking the third such incident in recent days.
"An investigation is underway into the drones shot down yesterday and today," the president said in a post on his Facebook page.
Romania's Ministry of National Defence also confirmed the destruction of the unmanned aerial vehicle.
