Torrential rains triggered flash floods and mudslides in Türkiye's northern Kastamonu province, inundating residential areas.
In the district of Cide, where an orange weather warning remains in effect, the Devrekani River overflowed its banks, Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.
Floodwaters submerged residential neighborhoods and commercial properties, while vehicles and the main highway linking Kastamonu with the neighboring province of Bartın were also inundated.
No official reports of casualties or injuries have been released.
Emergency services are working to deal with the aftermath of the severe weather and mitigate its impact.
