Israel has welcomed the prospect of Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords, describing such a move as a historic breakthrough for peace in the Middle East, Israeli Prime Minister’s office has stated.
In a post on X, it said the joint US-Israeli military campaign against Iran, along with Israel's operations against Tehran-backed armed groups, had "created the possibility to expand the circle of peace," Caliber.Az reports.
“Peace through Strength,” it added.
Earlier, Trump made it clear that a US-Saudi agreement on nuclear cooperation would be approved if Riyadh joins the Abraham Accords.
