A fire broke out overnight at a production facility belonging to Turkish defence company TUSAŞ in the central city of Eskişehir.
According to Turkish media reports, the blaze started in one of the plant’s production workshops. Firefighters who arrived at the scene managed to contain and bring the fire under control after several hours.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and no injuries have been reported.
Haluk Görgün, head of Türkiye’s Defence Industry Agency, said relevant teams are continuing cooling operations and conducting a technical investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
