A US Air Force KC-135T aerial refuelling aircraft (tail number 60-0346) declared an emergency while flying over the Persian Gulf.
According to MenchOsint on X, the aircraft squawked the emergency transponder code 7700 before beginning its descent and diverting towards Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates.
The aircraft is reportedly preparing to make an emergency landing.
