Two oil tankers exploded while attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz via an unsafe route, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced.
According to a statement carried by the Tasnim news agency, the vessels, allegedly “encouraged by the US military,” tried to leave the designated safe passage in the southern part of the Strait of Hormuz before the explosions occurred.
