Border control officers at Tbilisi International Airport have detained a Lebanese citizen for attempting to illegally cross Georgia’s state border, according to the Georgian Interior Ministry.
The man tried to enter the country using forged documents, Caliber.Az reports via Georgian media.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect, who faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
