Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said nearly 1,900 drones were launched toward the Russian capital over the past week, most of which were intercepted by air defences before reaching the city.
“From 20:30 on July 11 to 08:30 on July 18, 1,892 drones were flying in the direction of the Moscow region. The majority were neutralised by air defence forces at distant approaches. 207 Ukrainian drones were destroyed on approach to Moscow,” Sobyanin said in a statement.
