Several members of Kuwait’s armed forces were wounded in drone strikes targeting multiple military facilities, which authorities attributed to Iran, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence said on Friday, July 17.

In a statement posted on X and cited by Caliber.Az, the ministry said the attacks struck a number of army facilities and camps earlier in the day. It added that senior General Staff officials visited the injured personnel following the incident.

According to the statement, officials met with “several servicemen of the Kuwaiti land forces who were injured this morning as a result of shelling of a number of facilities and camps of the Kuwaiti army by drones” during the Iranian attack.
