Kazakhstan's Ministry of Transport has announced the launch of a new air route to Georgia.
Kazakh low-cost carrier FlyArystan began operating regular flights between Atyrau and Batumi on July 14, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.
The service will operate once a week, every Tuesday, using Airbus A320 aircraft.
The ministry said the launch of the new route is expected to further strengthen tourism cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia.
