SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, July 13. I should note that
it was precisely the President of Uzbekistan who was the first to
provide assistance to us in the restoration of Karabakh, said
President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting with participants of the 4th Shusha Global
Media Forum.


"The foundation of Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan relations lies in our
friendship and brotherly ties, and my personal friendship with
respected President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has elevated these relations
to an even higher level," he said.
