Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Oman have strongly condemned Iranian strikes targeting their territories as well as neighboring Arab countries.
According to Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry, the attacks reflect a “hostile approach” and constitute a “serious violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the State of Kuwait.”
Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry also condemned what it described as Iranian attacks against Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Jordan, reiterating its complete rejection of Iran’s violation of the sovereignty of these brotherly countries and the continuing threat to the security and stability of the region.
In its statement, Riyadh further condemned what it called Iran’s “destabilizing behavior” in the region, its alleged violations of international law, and repeated attacks on commercial vessels that threaten maritime security and freedom of navigation.
Meanwhile, the Oman News Agency said the Sultanate is taking “all necessary measures to prevent such incidents.”
According to the agency, Iran carried out drone strikes on Oman’s northern Musandam province on July 12.
