Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has held talks with Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal to discuss security issues, including the framework agreement with Israel.
The Lebanese presidency said, in a post on X, that the meeting focused on the implementation of the agreement and the situation in the country's southern regions, Caliber.Az reports.
The agreement envisages the deployment of the Lebanese Armed Forces in so-called pilot zones simultaneously with the withdrawal of Israeli troops from those areas.
