U.S. forces carried out strikes on areas in Iran near the Bushehr nuclear power plant, Iranian state-linked broadcaster Al Alam reported on July 9, citing a local official.
According to the official, the attacks took place after midday and targeted “several sites in Bushehr province, including the vicinity of the [eponymous] nuclear power plant.”
