Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has called for tangible progress toward ending the war between Russia and Ukraine, reaffirming Türkiye's commitment to supporting diplomatic efforts.
Speaking at the NATO Parliamentary Summit in Istanbul, Erdoğan said achieving results through dialogue should be a priority in the near future, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
“I would like to particularly emphasise that in the near future, we must achieve results in resolving the Russian-Ukrainian war through dialogue. As an ally capable of engaging in dialogue with both sides, initiating productive processes, and having earned the trust of both sides through our fair stance, we will continue to actively contribute to peace efforts,” Erdoğan said.
