Russian air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 415 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones and 12 guided aerial bombs over the past 24 hours, the Russian Ministry of Defence said.
In a statement, the ministry said its air defence units had repelled a large-scale aerial attack involving unmanned aerial vehicles and precision-guided munitions.
"Air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 12 guided aerial bombs and 415 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
The statement comes amid continued hostilities between Russia and Ukraine, with both sides regularly reporting drone and missile strikes targeting military and strategic infrastructure.
