Russian President Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council via video conference, the Kremlin press service announced on June 25.


The participants discussed issues related to ensuring the country's internal security and developing Russia’s relations with its neighbouring states.


Reports on the topics under discussion were delivered by Alexander Bortnikov, head of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), and Vladimir Kolokoltsev, the country’s interior minister.
