Mobile internet access in Moscow will be partially switched off today, June 25, with telecom operators having already warned users about possible disruptions, according to sources cited by Telegram channel Mash.
“Mobile internet will be switched off today in Moscow — operators warn of outages,” the Telegram channel added.
According to the report, voice calls and SMS services will remain available. At the same time, only state-run online services included in so-called “whitelists” are expected to function during the restrictions.
Such mobile internet limitations, introduced in 2025–2026, are implemented for security reasons and are applied selectively across different zones rather than across the entire city at once.
Users are advised to prepare in advance by ensuring access to Wi-Fi networks and to monitor up-to-date information on outages and maintenance schedules through official telecom monitoring services and operator announcements.
