Britain's Charles III held a meeting with Azerbaijani Presidential Climate Envoy and COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev, according to Azerbaijan's ambassador to London, Elin Suleymanov.


In a post on X, Suleymanov said the King's longstanding commitment to environmental protection continues to inspire people around the world, Caliber.Az reports.






“His Majesty The King's commitment to environment is a global inspiration. At COP29, President Mukhtar Babayev joined international climate leaders, including UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, for a super pollutants event hosted by the Royal Family & the UK's Department for Energy Security and Net Zero at St James's Palace,” he wrote.


Babayev joined leading global climate figures, including António Guterres, at an event focused on tackling super pollutants.


The gathering was hosted by the British Royal Family and the UK's Department for Energy Security and Net Zero at St James's Palace.
