The Poltavskaya oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar Territory has once again come under attack and caught fire, according to a statement posted overnight on June 25 by Alexander Kharitonov, head of the Krasnoarmeysky District, according to Russian media.
“As a result of falling UAV debris, a fire broke out at the Poltavskaya oil depot. Emergency and operational services are working at the scene,” Kharitonov wrote on the Max platform.
He also said that traffic on the road connecting the stanitsa of Poltavskaya and the Trudobelikovsky farm settlement had been temporarily suspended.
The Poltavskaya oil depot is a regional fuel infrastructure facility that supplies petroleum products to parts of the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea. Its storage complex consists of approximately 28 fuel tanks.
