A private house caught fire in the Kstovo district of Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region, approximately one kilometre from the “Elektrokabel NN” plant, following a Ukrainian drone attack, according to an OSINT analysis by ASTRA.
Video footage published by a local resident showed a fire in a residential area. Using geolocation analysis, ASTRA identified the burning building as a private home located at 19 Molodyozhnaya Street in the village of Bezvodnoe.
The Elektrokabel NN plant is situated roughly one kilometre from the site of the fire. According to the company’s website, the facility is “a modern, dynamically developing enterprise in the cable industry, equipped with an extensive range of technological equipment for the production of a wide assortment of high-demand cable and wire products.”
Nizhny Novgorod Region Governor Yevgeny Solntsev earlier reported a large-scale overnight Ukrainian drone attack.
“Several UAVs were shot down over an industrial enterprise in the regional capital,” the governor wrote.
