A trading market known as Bereke, located at 173 Gogol Street in central Almaty, has been demolished.
The market was constructed without the required permits, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kazakh media.
Following an unscheduled inspection, the owner was instructed to eliminate the violations. However, the requirements were not fulfilled. As a result, the urban development authority filed a case with the Specialized Interdistrict Economic Court, which ruled that the illegally constructed commercial structures be demolished.
After the court ruling was forwarded to the Department of Justice, the owner proceeded with the voluntary demolition of the market.
