The publication reports that the Voronezh Semiconductor Device Plant was targeted in a missile strike on June 22, INSIDER reports.


The facility is included in sanctions lists in several countries. A large fire is reported at the site of impact.



The plant produces transistors, diodes, microcircuits and power modules used in onboard control systems of Russian missiles, including Iskander and Kalibr, as well as in radar systems and air defence complexes such as the S-400.
