At least 13 children were injured after a man entered the Orlyonok children's camp in Russia’s Tuva Republic and attacked minors, according to a source cited by Izvestia on June 21.


The source said law enforcement officers are currently working with the affected children as part of the ongoing investigation.


Authorities have detained the suspect, who allegedly entered the camp grounds and inflicted bodily injuries on several minors.


According to preliminary information, the man, born in 2001, was intoxicated when he entered one of the camp buildings and carried out the attack.
