A shooting incident has been reported in Armenia’s capital Yerevan on June 20, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the case.


Gunshots were heard in the Cilicia district on Sisvan Street earlier in the day, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.


Police officers responding to the scene discovered multiple shell casings, including evidence suggesting the use of both a pistol and an automatic firearm. Investigators also found traces resembling blood, bullet impacts on the iron gate of a residential property, and a bullet hole in a Honda vehicle parked nearby.


Law enforcement agencies have launched joint operational and investigative measures to determine the circumstances of the incident, identify those involved, and locate the suspects and weapons used.
