An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has been found on a beach in northern Türkiye, marking the second such discovery in the region within five days.
The drone was discovered on Çakraz Beach in the Amasra district of Bartın province after being washed ashore by waves, Turkish media reports.
Gendarmerie units deployed to the scene said the UAV was not equipped with any explosives. Authorities added that the device had likely been in the water for an extended period.
The drone has been sent to Ankara for technical examination, while its origin has not yet been determined.
The discovery follows a similar incident on June 14, when another drone was found on a nearby beach in the same region. In that case as well, officials were unable to identify its ownership.
