Azerbaijan’s defence ministry has held a meeting on military medical expertise involving representatives of the military, law enforcement and other relevant state structures.
During the talks, Head of the Medical Directorate, Colonel of the Medical Service Anar Ismayilov, praised the importance of improving the medical examination process for civilians and servicemen in line with modern requirements, advances in medical science, and international best practices, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.
Participants exchanged views on proposed amendments to the Regulation on Military Medical Expertise and put forward suggestions for preparing a package of initiatives based on a unified approach.
In addition, representatives of medical expert commissions of state bodies consolidated the proposals and identified key approaches for further improving the regulatory framework in order to enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance with modern standards.
Officials noted the meeting as significant for shaping new approaches in the field of military medical expertise, studying advanced international experience, and developing a unified expert methodology.
