At the G7 summit in France, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni could not hide her reaction after French President Emmanuel Macron whispered something in her ear, Daily Mail reports.
While world leaders usually try to maintain a neutral expression during meetings, Meloni was unable to conceal her reaction, the publication noted.
According to video footage, the Italian prime minister leaned toward the French leader, who then spoke to her while covering his mouth with his hand. Meloni subsequently turned toward Macron and visibly rolled her eyes. The content of the French president’s remark remains unknown.
