German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has said that the time is now right for negotiations on resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
“We believe in any case that now is the right time for negotiations,” the minister said in an interview with Rheinische Post.
“We Europeans should not let this summer pass without seriously considering the possibility of negotiations. It is important not to leave this issue in the long term to the Americans,” he added.
