A United States-backed resolution concerning Iran’s nuclear program is expected to be approved by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors, diplomats told Iran International’s correspondent in Vienna.
Diplomatic sources said a vote on the resolution is likely to take place within the coming hours during the Board of Governors’ session.
One diplomat indicated that the measure already has sufficient support among member states to secure passage.
“The resolution has the necessary votes to pass,” the diplomat said.
