BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 10. Iran has launched
missile and drone strikes against U.S. targets in the Middle East,
the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement,
Trend reports.
According to the report, the statement came after the United
States said it intended to carry out retaliatory strikes against
Iran following the downing of a U.S. helicopter the previous
day.
Explosions were reportedly heard in the Iranian cities of Sirik
and Minab, as well as on Qeshm Island.
