BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 9. Azerbaijan plans to
double the volume of ICT sector and increase export to $1 billion
by 2030, Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital
Development Agency of Azerbaijan, Farid Osmanov, said at the
International Finance and Banking Summit taking place in Baku,

correspondent reports.
According to him, Azerbaijan continues to develop its digital
ecosystem, with the MyGov platform at its core. The goal is to
provide citizens with proactive and personalized services through a
single digital platform.
"Over the past year, the number of MyGov users has nearly
tripled, reaching 2.2 million. The number of services provided
through the platform has grown 11-fold, and the amount of available
information has doubled.
As part of Azerbaijan's Digital Agenda 2030, it is planned to
double the size of the country's ICT sector from the current level
of approximately $2.3 billion, as well as increase ICT export
potential from $145 million to $1 billion per year," he said.
According to Osmanov, work is being completed in conjunction
with the Central Bank and other agencies on a major legislative
package aimed at developing venture funds, crowdfunding, technology
parks, and facilitating the attraction of highly qualified
specialists to the country.
New legislative initiatives are expected to create conditions
for the accelerated development of the ICT and financial sectors in
Azerbaijan.
