A Lebanese Army officer and several soldiers were killed after an Israeli drone struck their military vehicle in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese Armed Forces said on June 6.
According to a statement issued by the army's press office, the attack targeted a military jeep traveling on the El-Khardali–Nabatieh road in the Nabatieh Governorate, Caliber.Az reports.
"Several soldiers, including one officer, were killed as a result of an Israeli airstrike on a military vehicle on the El-Khardali–Nabatieh road, amid ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon and its people," the statement said.
