An explosion at a postal terminal in Kyiv’s Obolon district has left one person dead and two others injured, according to preliminary information from local authorities.
Police said the blast occurred while one of the parcels at the facility was being inspected. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene, including an investigative task force, explosives specialists from the capital’s police, rescuers from the State Emergency Service and medical personnel.
