Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi held a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on June 1, urging maximum flexibility to help bring an end to tensions between the United States and Iran.


During the discussion, Takaichi stated that both sides should demonstrate maximum flexibility in order to reach an agreement as soon as possible, Caliber.Az reports via Japanese media.


She also stressed the importance of guaranteeing safe maritime passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
