A fuel storage facility in the Matveevo-Kurgansky district of Russia’s Rostov region caught fire after debris from a downed drone fell on the site, regional governor Yury Slyusar said on his Telegram channel.

The facility supplies fuel to agricultural producers. As a precaution, authorities began evacuating residents from nearby settlements.

“People are not in danger,” the regional governor emphasized.
