BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 28. Over the past 24
hours, 26 vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz after
agreement with the Iranian side, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary
Guard Corps (IRGC) Naval Forces wrote on its Telegram channel,
Trend reports.
Commercial vessels and oil tankers are reported to have crossed
the strait via a safe route after receiving relevant permissions
and in coordination with IRGC forces.
The IRGC also emphasized that coordination with the Iranian side
regarding passage through the Strait of Hormuz is mandatory.
Otherwise, movement along alternative routes will be considered a
violation and the creation of interference, and measures may be
taken against such vessels.
