Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi has announced that a high-level coordination meeting was held at Türkiye's Interior Ministry to review security preparations ahead of the 36th NATO summit.
In a statement shared on X, Çiftçi said the meeting focused on security measures for the upcoming event, which will bring together heads of state and government from NATO member countries, Caliber.Az reports.
Officials from the General Directorate of Police and the Gendarmerie presented detailed reports outlining operational preparations and planned security arrangements.
The minister said all necessary measures are being carefully coordinated to ensure the summit takes place in an “atmosphere of peace and security” under Türkiye's hosting.
