Iran’s School Renovation Organisation has said that 1,507 schools and 219 non-educational facilities were damaged during the recent war, according to preliminary assessments.
The head of the organisation said 15 schools were completely destroyed and will be rebuilt with support from charities and partner organisations, Iran International reports.
Officials also noted that 254 schools are expected to resume operations within the next two months as repair and recovery efforts continue.
