President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has congratulated President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day.
In his message, Berdimuhamedov expressed warm greetings to President Ilham Aliyev, praising Azerbaijan’s rapid development and its achievements across key sectors, Caliber.Az reports via state media.
He noted that “Today, Azerbaijan is developing rapidly, demonstrating impressive successes in the economy, infrastructure, and culture, playing an important role in strengthening international cooperation.”
The Turkmen leader also emphasised the positive trajectory of bilateral relations, underlining that ties between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, grounded in good-neighbourliness, friendship, and mutual understanding, are becoming increasingly dynamic and progressive.
He reaffirmed Ashgabat’s readiness to further deepen cooperation in the interests of both nations.
Concluding his message, Berdimuhamedov extended personal wishes to the Azerbaijani leadership and nation: “I sincerely wish You robust health and happiness, and to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan – peace, welfare, and prosperity.”
