Two major international medical conferences held in Baku this week brought together advances in robotics, artificial intelligence, and cardiology, highlighting the growing convergence of technology and precision medicine.
The Turkic World Congress on Cardio-Oncology was held alongside the First International AI & Robotic Cardiology Summit, according to Caliber.Az.
The events were organized in cooperation with Azerbaijan Ministry of Health and the Scientific Research Cardiology Institute, bringing together international specialists to discuss developments in precision medicine, robotic surgery, and AI applications in healthcare.
Held at the Gulustan Palace overlooking the Caspian Sea, the discussions focused on improving treatment for cancer patients with heart complications, expanding the use of minimally invasive robotic-assisted cardiac procedures, and leveraging machine learning tools to analyze medical imaging, predict cardiac events, and support earlier, more personalized treatment strategies.
The conferences were held from May 20-22, with multiple events held in various locations across the capital.
