Two people were seriously injured after a light aircraft crashed in the southwestern county of Haenam County on Saturday, May 23, according to authorities, cited by Korean media.
The aircraft went down at approximately 3:10 p.m. while en route from Muan International Airport to Sani Airfield.
Both occupants — an instructor and a student in their 20s affiliated with Chodang University — sustained serious injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
