Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, to discuss bilateral relations and key regional developments, according to the Iranian foreign minister’s press service.
During the call, the two sides addressed a range of issues, including economic cooperation, security along shared borders, and coordination in efforts to combat terrorism. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening internal security and maintaining stability across the region.
In addition to this conversation, Araghchi held separate phone talks with Hakan Fidan, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and Fuad Hussein.
According to the statement, these discussions covered bilateral relations as well as the latest regional and international developments, reflecting ongoing diplomatic engagement between Iran and key regional partners.
