Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran during an official visit focused on regional security and diplomatic coordination.

According to a statement from Araghchi’s office, the meeting lasted late into the evening and included discussions on recent diplomatic initiatives aimed at preventing further escalation in the region, Caliber.Az reports.

The two sides also exchanged views on efforts to end what Iran described as a war initiated by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic, as well as on broader measures to strengthen peace, stability, and security across West Asia.
