DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, May 23. Tajikistan’s
Ministry of Energy and Water Resources plans to align its
institutional workflows with the state's newly updated
anti-extremism roadmap and long-term national development targets,
Trend reports via the
ministry.
The strategic integration plans were detailed during an
official briefing on May 22, 2026, which brought together Deputy
Minister of Energy and Water Resources Manuchehr Safarzoda, Senior
Prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office Unified Information
Center Azimjon Abdullozoda, and central ministry staff.
Under the state's established long-term framework, the ministry
plans to implement the internal measures outlined in the Strategy
for Preventing Extremism and Terrorism in the Republic of
Tajikistan for the period up to 2040. Ministry departments plan to
focus immediate administrative resources on executing the
first-phase action plan scheduled for 2026–2030, which introduces
updated compliance protocols to mitigate security and cybercrime
risks within critical infrastructure sectors.
Concurrently, the ministry plans to restructure its operational
programs for the upcoming period to achieve the broader economic
and utility infrastructure targets set by President Emomali Rahmon.
Moving forward, the Ministry of Energy plans to hold regular
internal evaluations to ensure the timely fulfillment of these
national infrastructure safety and development mandates.
