A new phase of Azerbaijan’s Great Return program has seen dozens of families resettled in the city of Khojavand, as former internally displaced persons begin moving back to their restored homes in liberated territories.


Some 65 people (17 families) are being resettled today in the city of Khojavand, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.


The families relocating to Khojavend had previously been temporarily residing in various regions of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.


Returning residents expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for comprehensive state care. They also expressed appreciation to the Azerbaijani Army, its brave soldiers and officers who liberated the lands from occupation, and wished peace for the souls of the martyrs who fell on this
