From 15 May 2026, the transport system set up for the World Urban Forum (WUF13), to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, has been fully launched, ensuring participants have safe, smooth, and efficient travel to and from the event venue.
Delegates will be able to use a fully integrated transport network designed to provide easy connections between the airport, major transit hubs, hotel accommodation zones, and the Baku Olympic Stadium, which is hosting the forum, Caliber.Az reports, citing WUF13.
As part of the broader mobility plan, the WUF13 Airport Shuttle will run 24 hours a day from 12 to 25 May.
In addition, dedicated city shuttle routes will operate for participants between 15 and 22 May.
A special K1 shuttle line will also provide direct service between the Koroghlu Transport Hub and the Baku Olympic Stadium from 14 to 23 May.
Within the WUF13 transport framework, shuttle routes W1–Shikh, W2–Icherisheher, W3–Nariman Narimanov, W4–Izmir, W5–28 May, W6–Ganjlik, W7–White City, and W8–Sea Breeze will connect key accommodation areas with major transport nodes.
Furthermore, the W9–Badamdar route links nearby hotels with the Icherisheher transport hub, while the W10–Mikayil Aliyev line provides a direct connection between accommodation zones and the WUF13 venue.
All transport services operating during WUF13 are free of charge for accredited and registered participants.
Participants travelling to the venue for on-site registration will also be able to use these services at no cost.
Further details on routes and transport operations during WUF13 are available through the WUF13 local transport information page.
